When you listen to the wrong people for advice on the internet, you can find yourself spending thousands and thousands of dollars in the wrong places, not to mention the hours and hours you spend heading down the wrong path.
I have been there myself. After attending a great big ‘pitch fest’ type of event, I decided to register for an extremely expensive coaching program for 12 months. I should have noticed the trouble coming. They promised to turn me into a millionaire and be an overnight success. Well, if there is anything I have learnt over the time, it is that even overnight successes have been working hard for 4 years before that! Don’t get me wrong – there are people who’s income skyrockets very quickly as they find their place in the market. Fay you are so right on here… After a while of going to events, whether virtual or live one should realizes — at least I do — that the hype you feel during these events is something you might not feel the next day! I’ve also been blessed with a level head to not spend beyond what I can pay for.
When I hear instant millionaire, or taking me to the next level I don’t walk away, I run! Of course if you are interested in a particular subject, you want to go to the next level, but you need to have been at the first floor before you can go to the second or third in most cases!
