The Funded Proposal

Are you familiar with the term “Funded proposal”? It’s often used as a lead marketing strategy when you market expensive products or services.

What exactly is a Funded Proposal? – A funded proposal is a marketing plan where you sell an inexpensive information product to your target market on the front end. This gets them into your funnel so you can offer them your “bigger ticket” item on the back end.

This serves two purposes:

1.  You gather highly targeted and motivated leads who have raised their hand and said, “I’m interested in what you have!” They further qualify themselves by pulling out their credit card and Buy something from you.

So this is not just someone who is curious and won’t even leave their correct email or phone number… this is someone who has a serious interest. This is a “Buyer” lead.

2.  The big advantage of using a Funded Proposal is that it generates immediate income and actually helps pay for your advertising.

Hence the term, Funded Proposal, you are funding the advertising of your business by selling a less expensive product first.

So in essence… The leads you generate from a funded proposal are paying for your advertising!

It doesn’t get any better than that!

Here’s how a Funded Proposal Works …

You advertise an inexpensive information product, anywhere from $25 to $97. It must be something of value that people in your market need.

For example … if your target market is someone who wants to make money online, a great front end product would be something that helps them to generate leads.

In fact, one of the questions I get asked most often is – “How do I get people to my website?”

So you see how learning how to generate leads and drive traffic to your website would be valuable information you can lead with and offer them an inexpensive product up front.

If the item has VALUE, then you can often up-sell your customer to other back-end products that have a higher price point.

I’m sure you see the value in this because now you are making money to pay for your advertising or front-end whether your lead joins your primary business or not.

Plus… you now have the opportunity to upsell your new client to a more expensive product or service.

The Funded Proposal business model works like a charm.

A few weeks ago as I was searching for a product to use as a funded proposal for one of my top tier businesses, a business associate sent me some information on a new product that was launching called Empower Network

I wanted something that was inexpensive, had value and would help my clients generate leads.

I know from experience that blogging is a great way to generate leads. And even though blogging is free, there are some upfront fees involved along with some specialized knowledge to get your blog set up correctly.

Not only does it cost money to set up a blog, you also have to get a customized theme, create a header graphic, install plugins, and learn how to convert traffic into leads.

Before you can even get ready to start blogging … you’ll spend anywhere from $50 to $500 and more to have a blog set up for you.

The main focus of Empower Network is teaching people how to generate free leads through blogging.

As I was reviewing the Empower Network, the light bulb when on. Here was a way to get a complete blogging system plus have the ability to make money immediately as you generate leads for your business… all for only $25 a month.

They’ll do all the set up for you – your only job is to add a post to your blog on a daily basis and this will start to generate leads for your business.

Let me take a few minutes and explain how this can work as a funded proposal…

You join and pay a $25 monthly fee – this pays for the set up and monthly hosting to have a high traffic blog set up for you.

As you post short articles on topics that interest you… you will attract people to your blog site. They have strategically placed some compelling banners and links for visitors to click on the site. When a prospect clicks on any of these links they are encouraged to fill out a form and request more information.

When they do this… you generate the lead!

Then they watch a short video about how to make money online and if they decide to join… you get paid the full $25 commission. It’s all seamless and automated.

Not only have you generated a lead…. But you also now have a “paid” client who just put $25 in your pocket.

An opportunity “buyer” is the best lead for many online businesses especially if your business involves MLM or Network Marketing.

As you develop a relationship with your new clients through your autoresponder follow up messages and weekly broadcasts, eventually you can introduce them to your main program.

I joined the program to test it on October 31st and so far I have generated 417 leads and 95 new paid members who each paid me $25 or more. Most of my sales occurred while I was out of town, my laptop had crashed, and my cell phone was not working properly. So I had very little to no interaction with people who joined.

In other words – It was Completely Automated!

They have 3 levels so you can potentially earn more money if your new clients decide to upgrade to the higher level and receive additional marketing training.

Not only will you get the 100% commission upfront… but you also get the 100% commission and the monthly renewals.

You CAN Get Exactly What You Want!

Yes it’s true – you CAN get exactly what you want….

 

I’ve had to learn this the hard way myself. When I was in my early twenties, I was a good 20 kilos heavier than what was healthy for me. As much as I would moan and groan about not fitting into the latest fashions or being as slender as others, nothing changed until I took personal responsibility for my situation. When I made the decision to take the right action – boom – I got the results I was after Sure, there have been periods of time where my results have been better than others and, I choose to consistently do what it takes to maintain these results.

You cannot complain about something you’re not willing to do.

What I mean by this is that you can’t complain about not having a bigger income when you know there are some things you meed to do to get it, that you are not doing.

This relates to other things in your life too.

Quite simply, if you are not doing the work, you can’t expect to get the results.

This is actually what we can refer to as personal responsibility.

Perhaps for you it’s a relationship you don’t like or you feel that you’re in a terrible financial state. It’s easy for us to have circumstances that we are less than happy with when we aren’t taking personal responsibility in taking massive action on the opportunities that show up.

When you have a strong desire for something to be different in your life, opportunities will show up when you ask and believe.

This is when it’s important to take action in spite of whatever else is going on for you.

When you take massive action then you have personal responsibility.

Personal responsibility is being in control of the results that you create in your life.

It is sometimes a hard thing to accept, but the fact is that you create every result that you have in your life. In your business, your level of income and even the kind of relationships you have. The actions you take or the actions you don’t take, create your current reality.

The difference lies in being willing to do what others are not willing to do.

You might even know some people who are unwilling to do the work to uplevel your results.

What would it mean for you to play a much bigger game in your  business and your life? The more people you attract to work with you, the more money you make and the bigger difference you can make to other people’s life.

How do you show up in your business in relation to taking action?

  1. Complacent. Always putting action steps on the back-burner and saying you want things to be different, but not focused or determined to take action.
  2. Slow and Steady – This person has the attitude of ‘slow and steady’ will win the race. or, “You can’t take things too quickly you know.” Gets distracted easily and often concerned more about what results others are achieving, than getting on with it and achieving results for themselves.
  3. An action taker. You are always looking to take action. Seeking ways to grow and do things more effectively. Achieving exceptional results in your life and your business.

The difference between each of these types of people is being willing to do what others aren’t willing to do.

In my opinion, if you’re going to do it anyway, you may as well do it right, and do it well.

So what stops you from taking massive action?

It’s always excuses that will get in the way of you taking massive action. They’re destructive when it comes to playing a bigger game.

There are several types of excuses that I hear come up all the time. heck, I should know. After all, I’ve used many of them myself over the years. When you see opportunities come by you to make more money, you might make excuses why you can’t take up that opportunity.

Most people use “I can’t afford it”. Perhaps you’ve said that too when an opportunity has come up to attend a program or work with a mentor. The person who says this is saying ‘no’ to the opportunity they were seeking. then next week, they will turn around and book a holiday or buy a flat screen TV. This ‘I can’t afford it’ is nonsense. You will always find the means to do what is priority for you.

“I don’t have time.” This is also baloney. You can find the time. If your biggest dream was ready to be made a reality, and you had to travel to the other side of the world to ‘cash it in’, would you say “Fay, I don’t have time to go and get that”? I doubt it. Most people would say, “I’ll  clear my calendar so I can get the time to go and get that!”

When you say you do have the  time, you are choosing not to use your time to perform certain activities.

“It works for them, but it wouldn’t work for me.” This is all about your determination, focus and implementation. Everybody implements at a different rate, and if you are following a proven system, where you can see a variety of other people getting good results, then there is no reason why, if you follow the steps, you won’t achieve great results too.

These are all excuses and many more that you may use to not uplevel your results.

This is a moment in your life where you can decide to take a different course of action. Do you want it? I recommend taking massive action.

You’ve got opportunities in your life now. Use them.

It comes down to being WILLING to act differently. It’s not just thinking differently, it’s about taking bold and decisive action toward what you say you want in your business or your life. It’s about saying YES to what’s possible for you. Saying YES to the opportunities that are given to you. And then taking action. Your business, your life, your in-come will never be the same. I promise you that.

Business can be as simple as one, two, three.

You really don’t need to go any further than that.  One is that you need customers or leads to connect with, two, you need to communicate with them, and three, you need to be consistent.

Today, I want to focus on the third element – consistency.

We all know that there is a never ending stream of marketing activities to help you build your list. Things like article marketing, blogging, forums, public speaking, social media, paid advertising and many more.

One of the biggest mistakes many business owners make is starting one kind of activity and then continually jumping on to the next marketing activity when they get frustrated with a lack of results.  Then what happens is they jump on to the next activity and start that for a week, or two and perhaps again, get results they are less than happy with.  Without realizing it, what’s going on here, is that they are killing any chances of building momentum.

One of the biggest keys to success is consistency. When we do something repeatedly and consistently, not only do we get really skillful at it, we also build momentum, and, send a message to our clients many might not even be aware of.

Nothing is worse than if I check your website and find you only blog occasionally. Or if I visit your social media pages only to see that your business page has not been posted on for a month.  Neither of these is being consistent.  If your potential clients find these things out about you, they can begin to be doubtful or fearful around whether or not you will be around long enough to support them.

Do you lack confidence? Be consistent. It’s amazing how much more confident you will become with this one simple change.

Often new business owners tell me they lack the time to implement their marketing plan. Our first step is to analyze where they are currently spending their time. We often see that the masterminding, skype chatting and general outings have become time vampires rather than real profit producing activities.  Realizing that it really only takes a few hours each week to write a few blog posts, to send out a regular newsletter and to keep social media updated, they can easily fit these into their schedule.

Be consistent with less….

It’s easy to feel extra pressure if you’re doing a launch of some sort, or it’s coming into a busy time of the year for you …..this is not the time to become inconsistent. Your current list is important, even if there are only a few hundred people on it. Don’t neglect them! Don’t neglect your social media followers for a week while you are ‘distracted by something big’ or they might not respond the way you want when you ‘come back’!

Unfortunately, far too many home based business owners think they can still earn enormous profits even though they want to only work when it’s ‘convenient’.  This is what I call a ‘Hobby Owner’, rather than a ‘Business Owner’.  This inconsistent behaviour can cost them an enormous amount of money.

Don’t try to do everything!  Pick just 2 or 3 of your ideal marketing activities and commit to 90 days.  For 90 days, complete these activities on a regular, consistent basis. Regardless of which activities you choose; blog, write articles, email marketing; do these consistently!  You will see a spike in your results and be amazed at the momentum you will create.

Consistency will become your best friend.

But mark my words- it’s not magic, it’s work.

If you’re willing to give it a try and do your very best everyday, you too can generate incredible results. Before you know it, you’ll have more leads and clients than you know what to do with and will need some coaching on managing all of your success.

So folks, practice consistency. Today. Start now. Be consistent!

Using LinkedIn To Increase Traffic, Leads and Sales

This week, one of my clients was asking how they could make better use of LinkedIn as part of their marketing strategy. As you know, if one person is asking, then there are generally lots of others that would like the same information too.

There are many ways for businesses to reach a wider audience and gain greater exposure in the market place today than ever before. Using internet marketing for online exposure to a global audience is a quick and easy way to get momentum for your home based or small business.

LinkedIn is the largest Social Networking site for Business Professionals looking to do more business. It is possible to attract high quality clients and drive targeted traffic to your website or business opportunity.

Even before Facebook arrived, LinkedIn was already a hit with business people with it’s ability to link professionals in their specific fields with over 150 industries. This continues to make LinkedIn a rapidly growing networking site and an important piece of any marketing strategy.

Currently, LinkedIn boasts of over 120 million members and wonderful features that can help your business succeed in social networking with little effort. Other than building connections, members also have the opportunity to promote their companies, recruit new staff, recommend colleagues, search and add contacts and maintain their business network.

Here are seven helpful tips you can use. consider using them when looking to expand your network.

Create a completed and attractive profile

Initially, you need to establish your own professional profile. Make sure the details you provide are accurate, such as your company name and your real name. People always want to know the person behind a particular company so introduce yourself in an interesting way. It is also best to post a photo of yourself. You can then add your blog, your website links and even your interests to your profile if you wish. Customise your profile to best suit your target market and your marketing strategy.

Build relationships first

After you’ve completed your profile, it’s time to start making friends to build your contact list. An easy place to start is with your personal contacts and people in the same industry. Then move on to connect with those who you think would be beneficial to your business. Avoid being flagged as a spammer by requesting your friends gradually. See who the influencers in your industry are connecting with and follow suit.

Provide valuable and interesting content

Post messages that are of value to other people. Sharing knowledge and tips for success in your area of expertise is a great way to capture people’s attention. no one wants to be sold to. Try to avoid selling your products and services to people upfront. Social networking is about building relationships and getting to know people. As people grow to respect and value your knowledge, they will be the ones to ask you about your business and they’ll contact you when they’re interested about your products and services. Providing tips is a great way to showcase your area of expertise.

Listen rather than talk

Social networking sites are not about “me, myself and I”. It’s about connecting with like minded people and sharing experiences and views that can influence them in a positive way. When you are able to give them amazing value, you’re on your way to gaining their trust and building win:win relationships going forward. Share, don’t sell.

Join group discussions

Being active in group discussions will let people experience your background and expertise. You can provide answers to questions that will get people thinking and help them achieve their goals. This is one effective way of increasing their interest in discovering more about the products and services that you offer. Be proactive and contribute. Spending time commenting in group discussions can be part of your specific marketing strategy.

Share your expertise

Meeting people through social networking sites and sharing ideas can be of great value to your business. I love the internet and I love conversing with people on ways to succeed using the web, I am honoured to be able to share my experiences with so many people.

When you love what you do and happily share your knowledge, people will naturally find you interesting. As this happens, people naturally grow to like and trust you, which provides the opportunity to develop win:win relationships going forward. Seek recommendations and recommend others.

Don’t send too many emails

Be cautious about sending emails to your followers. If you send emails several times a week, chances are you will only discourage people. Always make sure that messages you’re sharing are useful to your followers. Tailor your email frequency to what suits your target market.

Be consistent in what you do on LinkedIn and you will establish a loyal following.

To Develop a Millionaire Mind, Drop These 3 Habits

While so many people continue to dream of becoming a millionaire, its one place you can’t get to without having the mind of a millionaire, unless of course you win the lottery or marry into a royal family as a way to gain instant triumph.  Today’s post looks at 3 of the most common things that people do that prevents them from ever achieving financial abundance and long term wealth.

Drop Habit #1 – No One Gave Me What I Needed…

This may be the most common thing that I hear from people wanting to have success. This type of declaration is a justification. ANYTIME, and I mean, anytime, you blame your lack of achievement on ANYTHING or ANYONE other than yourself, you…will…fail. No one gave you what you needed…. Boo-Hoo! Get over it. NO ONE except YOU is responsible for your success. Not only will people NOT help you but there will be those who conspire AGAINST you! Do you think your family and friends want to see you reach incredible success? Unfortunately, they don’t. If you are to succeed, gaze in the mirror and there you will see the one and only resource you can truly count on, IF, you work at developing the mind of a millionaire.

Drop Habit #2 – You Have No Idea What I’ve Been Through…

Notice Columbus gives you the idea that you WILL have obstacles and distractions. He doesn’t say IF you have obstacles and distractions. It’s the difficult parts of life that you often learn from the most. Anyone who has achieved any level of success will tell you, it has not been without challenge to get there. It’s when things are plentiful and going smoothly that you learn the least. But what happens, is most people have a series of things that go against them and then conclude that their success was only a fluke or one off occasion. In fact, your circumstances are not what will stop you from success, it will only be YOU that can stop you.

When I was training for my triathlons, I remember my coach telling me once “Fay, when you are hurting, everyone else is hurting too.  It’s how you react to that feeling that will determine your place in the race.” Are you feeling it tough in today’s economy? Congratulations! Welcome to the majority. If you’re feeling it tough, so are most of the people around you.  Its how you choose to react that will determine your outcome.  If you focus on your pain and continually tell your story of woe, you won’t find anything gets any better. You know how annoying it can be to hear people tell a story over and over – they start to sound like a broken record. Well I bet people around you are sick of hearing about your woes too. Stop telling them, and change the record!

Drop Habit #3 – They Don’t Deserve It…

A relevant pop-psychology book from the 1980’s is If I’m So Successful, Why Do I Feel Like A Fake, subtitled The Imposter Syndrome, by Judith Bardwick. The core message of this book is that some very successful people feel like fakes because they don’t think they deserve their success and they live in fear of being found out. The real problem is that most people seem to think the success of others has come too easily for them.  Instead of recognizing their strengths and being happy for them, they will quickly explain why that person got to where they are now.

If you choose to keep pointing out the faults of those who have the lifestyle, relationships or money you desire, by separating yourself in this way, you are telling yourself that you don’t want what they have and guess what – you will never get it!

Developing the mindset of a millionaire means constantly creating a feeling of abundance. Thinking, acting and feeling all the things you dream of having will push you towards your dreams. Enjoy being amongst others who have achieved the success you desire.

The key is to take the inspiration you get from reading or listening to others who are more successful than yourself. Ensure your aspirations are realistic and stay focused on your goals.

Boost Your Google Rankings with This Simple 5 Step Checklist

If you want to learn to make money online, you need to also learn how to get friendly with Google!  The most trafficked site on the planet is Google… and if you can find a way to get your business listed within the top 10 search results (on page 1), this will drive loads of ideal prospects to your lead capture pages, websites and blog.

Your first task is to spend some time doing a bit of keyword research. This will serve as a good foundation for all the blog posts, articles or videos you create. This way you will get maximum exposure and be found by hundreds and thousands of people as they use the most popular search engine around.

Here are 5 easy steps to making your way into top search rankings:

Step #1 Do Your Keyword Research: You’ve probably heard this time and time again. The question is though – have you done it recently?   This step is essential is you want to learn to make money online. There are several tools to help you research popular keywords. I like using a combination of Google Keyword Tool and Market Samurai.

Some guidelines to follow are to look for words or phrases that have low competition (less than 100,000 SEOC), but are also getting a minimum of 10 clicks. This is the number of clicks you could expect per day if you were positioned in the top placing on Google.

Step #2:  Write and Publish Blog Posts: Select one or two keywords from the list you have created in Step #1.  Don’t focus on more than one or two for any individual post or article.  Write a post that includes your keywords or phrases about every 100 words. Your post should ideally be around 400 words long. Create a trackable link using Google url builder, bit.ly or hypertracker).  Use this trackable link to link your image and call to action at the end of your post to your opt in page.  Install the All in One SEO Pack Plug-in to optimize your posts by including your target keywords into the title, description and keywords area.

Step #3 Spread Your Article Around: The more places you can put your post the more likely it is to be found by people searching for your targeted keywords which will help your rankings.  The first place of course, is to place it onto your own website.  Then you can use an article submission tool or select to simply manually upload your article to 4 or 5 of the main authority article sites such as http://www.ezinearticles.com/ http://www.goarticles.com or http://www.articlesbase.com

Step #4 Submit Your Post to Social Media Sites: Now that you have your post or article uploaded onto your own website, and have submitted it to the main article directories, it’s time to send links to other major social media sites.  Post a comment on Facebook, a tweet on Twitter as well as send your post to any groups you are connected to on LinkedIn.  But don’t stop there. There is enormous power by adding your post to sites such as Digg.com, Stumble Upon and Technorati.  These sites have incredible traffic and can be great sources of massive lead generation.  These sites are all free to create an account and add content to.

Step #5:  More Google Juice With Backlinks: In short, backlinks are incoming links to a website from another site.  The more backlinks you can create the stronger your ranking position will be.  As well as the social media sites, research other well visited sites in your niche or industry where you are able to comment, post or add value.  For search engines, backlinks are a way to see which sites are recommending one another and play a key role in calculating a sites’ ”rank”.  When you are trying to get more links to your site, the first thing you will want to do is find other sites that are talking about things that are similar to you.

Create several new blog posts or articles each week and follow this simple routine each time and you will find yourself jumping up in the Google rankings for many of your niche related keywords, driving more traffic and creating massive lead generation for your business.  This is just one success factor when you learn to make money online!

The Best Home Business Models That Never Fail When Done Right

 

It’s really can be relatively easy making money on the web. What are important are the decisions you make when choosing the ideal business model. Sadly, this decision process is often neglected.

As your followers grow and you become more skilled at driving traffic to your blog, you can make many thousands of dollars using this method of making money on the web.  It’s a very flexible business and can be worked from any location.  Your returns will depend on how much time and effort you devote to your online blogging. This is where you can make money by selling other people’s products. You are given your own personal affiliate link to promote and then you earn a commission each time people buy through your affiliate link. This is one of the best home business models because it involves less hard work and less investment compared to some other models. It is really very easy to start and can be how to get cash quickly. I prefer to only recommend products I have purchased or use myself.  I think the products you promote should have a good customer service. Whenever I get asked this question, I recommend affiliate marketing and selling your own information. You can easily start them with very little investment and without too much preparation.

Do You Have A Lead Capture Page?

Are you leaving thousands of dollars on the table?

I was conducting a marketing seminar a couple of years ago and I asked the question “How many people know exactly who is visiting their website?” I remember one lady as she chimed in saying “I have Google Analytics so yes, I know exactly how many hits I have and where they come from.”

After congratulating her on having the tracking statistics I went on to explain that knowing the number of ‘hits’ was of absolutely no use if she wasn’t capturing the visitors or prospects’ email information and name.  This is the only way she is able to develop a list of people who are interested in her product, and to continue to market to them.

It’s one of the most basic strategies for successful online marketing, yet one I still see so many people not using.

The process is what’s called a Lead Capture Page.  It can also be referred to as a Squeeze Page but they all serve the same function.

 

If someone lands on your website, we can safely assume that they have an interest in something to do with the information you have.

The sole purpose of a Lead Capture Page is to collect the name and email address of someone who may be interested in your product or service. In other words, the main purpose of your Lead Capture Page should be to generate a lead..

A good Lead Capture Page is usually a one page site with some intriguing copy that encourages the visitor to fill out the form, commonly called an ‘opt in form’, with their name and email address and request more information. When a new prospect fills out the opt in form on your website with their name and email address, they can then be automatically directed to another page to receive the information they requested.

If you then connect an Autoresponder system to this opt in form, you can continue to provide your  prospects with additional information about your product or service through a series of automated follow-up messages.

You can generate more opt in leads by giving away something free in exchange for a prospect’s contact information such as a free report or free download. This is often the bit that prevents most people from taking action to create their lead capture page.   This free report doesn’t have to be an enormous long report.  In fact short, concise, useful information is best. The information should be about what your prospects want most.  You might choose to create a 5 or 7 step video series instead of a written report.  Videos are proving to be converting well at the moment.

If we look at the page as a whole; an effective Lead Capture Page will have an emotion grabbing headline, some short body copy or bullet points, and a Call to Action. This page should have all the components of what is known as the AIDA formula:

A     Attention

I       Interest

D     Desire

A     Action

The Call to Action is the text that is used to get the prospect to request more information.

Once again, the main purpose of the Lead Capture Page is to .Generate A Lead..

What Colour Are You?

Are you a Red? Maybe Blue?  Or maybe you’re Yellow and Blue?

What on earth am I talking about?

I’ve heard colours related to skin tones, but never to personality types before. That was, until I was attending a personal development day a short while ago.  I enjoyed their explanation of personality ‘colours’ and what they mean and wanted to share it with you today.

Have you ever wondered why you enjoy doing some things and not others?  Or why you like connecting with some people more than others?

Well, here’s the thing; many psychologists believe that each of us has a leading personality type with behaviors unique to that type. These personality types are described and categorized by colors.  The way we think, act and feel all play a part in defining our personality and our “color”.

Once you know your color, it’s an eye opening experience to see how your unique traits play out in life as compared to working and communication with different personalities. The better we understand ourselves and others, the more effective we can be in all our relationships.

How well do you know yourself and others? How would you characterize your personality?

Knowing your personality and how you relate to others can also give you a distinct advantage when it comes to business relationships.  Let’s take a look at the meanings of the four primary colors: red, yellow, blue, and green, and what those colors represent when it comes to defining your personality traits.

Red Performers

Red personalities love to perform. They are action-driven and love to be recognized for what they do. They are creative people who think well on their feet and like to get things done NOW. Also known as the movers and shakers, reds work extremely well in crisis and are good at troubleshooting and negotiating. They are direct communicators and will tell you “like it is.” They welcome, promote and adapt well to changing situations and have very open and accepting personalities. Usually seen as “characters” they are the easiest to read – “what you see is what you get.” They like and need to have control, especially of themselves. They like to do things “their way” and have a great need for freedom which allows for self-expression.

Yellow Planners

Yellow personalities are the worker bees of the world. They are excellent organizers and always have a plan and back-up plan in order. They tend to be very structured in their personal and professional lives. Yellows tend to be more disciplined than the other types and that means having follow-through skills. They are goal-driven and known for “making lists” to ensure all things are completed in a timely manner. It would make sense then that yellows respect authority, rules and regulations. Order is important to them and you will find the yellow individuals picking up after everyone. They are extremely good with details and work in professional settings that will draw on their skill sets.

Blue Relationships

Relationship is the only meaningful word in the dictionary to a blue personality. Relational by nature, blues are excellent at forming and maintaining relationships of all sorts. They tend to be people pleasers and work hard at building harmony within and outside the home. They are very aware of feelings within themselves and others. Blue types need to be praised for who they are. They need to be involved in meaningful activities that give them a sense of fulfillment and joy. They tend to be subjective and make decisions based on feelings. They have great empathy and compassion which will assist them in their uncanny ability to influence and persuade others.

Green Problem Solvers

In order to solve problems one needs information. Green personalities truly value learning and exploring new horizons. All their lives they have been asking questions and seeking answers. Investigative by nature, greens tend to begin with logic, objectivity and rationale. They prefer to analyze things and are very logical in their thought processes.

Like Bill Gates, they are the visionaries of the world. They are BIG picture people who tend to think about the future. They are skilled at anticipating problems and implementing systems to avoid obstacles. Greens need mental/intellectual challenges for motivation and thrive when they are provided them.

Taking risks, having adventure and excitement are not high priorities for you. Spontaneous actions are not the norm or part of your make-up. You tend to be more serious and focused. You do not think well on your feet and usually need a plan before moving forward. You are not the first one to jump in and get started on projects. You need time to think things through first.

Having fun at work may not resonate well with you. Work is a place to work. Having fun is for other places. You prefer the tried and true vs. testing the limits of the unknown. Being the center of attention is not you and you may get tired of those always seeking it. You do not do well in crisis situations and prefer jobs or careers that are more predictable and stable.

Do You Need More Money?

There is barely a week goes by that I don’t see a news story based on the dwindling funds that our elderly have to survive on.  So many of these folks are going without so many of the bare necessities just to survive week to week.

When I think of the years these people have dedicated to working and raising families, my heart sinks and I silently bless every one of them.  I have special place in my heart for the elderly because I believe many have a lot of experiential wisdom to share with us which is priceless.  In other words… they have been there and done that already.

Did you know that 95% of our elderly are broke and in debt?

As an example of our current economic state, let me show you what the statistics are for 100 men starting at the age of 25.  Do you have any idea what will happen to those men by the time they are 65?

…one will be rich

…four will be financially independent

…five will still be working

…thirty six will be dead

…fifty-four will be broke

Where will you fall in those statistics?

I want to share the results of a large selection of people who owned their own business and were asked what motivated them to start it. The one thing that became clear and common is that the desire to ‘be my own boss’ is the most common reason selected by these business owners for starting their own business. There was a clear driver amongst these entrepreneurs; to be independent and in charge of their own destiny.

Australians are proud to be leaders when it comes to sporting achievements or new inventions, but the leading position no one wants to hold is that in the race to be the nation with the highest personal debt.  Each Australian adult is currently in debt to the value of around US$56,000.

Australians’ mortgage, credit card debt and personal loans total over AU$1.2 trillion, which is an increase of 71 per cent from just five years ago.

The knowledge and understanding of the principles of wealth is available to all who hunger for more out of life than what they have achieved so far.

 

What about money? Why is it constantly on our minds? Why has financial independence eluded 97% of the world’s population? Why is it that people who live and work in one of the greatest nations on earth, end up living below the poverty level? Why have we not achieved our financial goals?

What is the missing link?

Many of you have experienced that in spite of “doing all the right stuff”; you did NOT achieve financial freedom using the formulas you were taught in school or in any of your professional training.

Has it ever occurred to you that you were NEVER TAUGHT TO BECOME WEALTHY?

What will make you wealthy is the knowledge of how to create wealth regardless of where you are in the system. This starts with implementing your personal plan for wealth.

How do you effectively do that?  I’m glad you asked.

Keep in mind that you already possess everything you need to obtain your wealth and abundance. Even if you have failed before and think you have tried everything. You only need to make a few adjustments.

And those adjustments begin with how you think.

In 1999 I found myself sitting at an investment seminar filled with other individuals who all seemed to be asking the same question. “What can I do to make more money and create more wealth?”

The speaker at this particular seminar had just made a very profound statement.  He said, “95% of the wealth in the world is held by 5% of the population.”  He went on to say, “There is no shortage of abundance in this world.  In fact, there is enough wealth in the world for every person to have 10 million dollars.”

My immediate thought was “Wow!  How I’d like my piece of that!!”  For a family who was constantly making the weekly budget stretch as far as possible, 10 million dollars seemed like a huge goal. However, I am a firm believer in whatever the mind can conceive, it can achieve… and I was very determined!

So I set out to make a plan to earn my millions.  I have now spent many, many years researching ways to produce additional streams of income.

Australia is now tenth in the world when it comes to the number people with net worth above $US1 million excluding their home. I’m proud to say I am part of this number and I’m still setting new goals.  Ok…enough about me.
